Change the hostname

1. Change of the file /etc/sysconfig/network

2. Change of the file /etc/hosts

3. Reboot the server

1. Change of the file /etc/sysconfig/network

 

Edit the file /etc/sysconfig/network and change the hostname after the field HOSTNAME :

 

HOSTNAME=OSE-STANDALONE

2. Change of the file /etc/hosts

 

Edit the file /etc/hosts and change the hostname :

 

127.0.0.1 OSE-STANDALONE localhost.localdomain localhost

3. Reboot the server

 

Reboot the server with command shutdown.
